Its hard work getting a thick mulch onto the soil this month!  As the apple harvest comes in I am reminded of our pigs and how we raised them and lived off the wonderful meat.  I show you how I make sausages, chorizo and bacon in the kitchen and give you recipes for curing hams, prosciutto and salamis.  We are in the middle of autumn now and I’m cooking hearty dishes, showing you how I cook Winter Squash and how important they are in our winter meals.
