Jams, Jellies and Chutneys

and mincemeat, too

Preserving makes me happy!   I started preserving many years ago to recover my balance after a traumatic time in my life.  Making those first jams, jellies and chutneys played an important role in teaching me mindfulness.  Each jar felt like an achievement and a small step forward.  The satisfaction preserving gave me fuelled my passion for growing my own food and has become one of my great pleasures every autumn when the harvest comes in.  Seeing my pantry shelves full of my own creations give me huge joy, gratitude and contentment.  So I want to pass it on and teach you the methods I use to inspire you to create your own delicious preserves!
