Making Your Own Bread
A Straightforward Guide to making Bread
Become a confident home baker
Knowing how to make your own bread is an important skill and one that will give you endless satisfaction and bring a beautiful new rhythm into your week. Research shows that bought bread often contains emulsifiers and additives and uses flour made with wheat that has been sprayed. The safest route to healthy bread is to make your own. So getting confident and experienced in bread making is a vital skill.
I’ve made my own bread for many years and I am convinced that healthy home made bread can be simple and rewarding even in a very busy life where time is scarce.
So my aim with this course is to try to simplify making bread, especially Sourdough, by helping you create a routine that is a real help to you, that suits you, fits with your time and pressures and which can become a mindful, creative, stress reducing part of your week.
I share the recipes for the breads I love, including sour doughs, soda bread, a no-knead seeded wholemeal loaf, gluten free breads and what to do with any sourdough discard left over from feeding your starter.
I am hoping that this short course will equip you with the skills to become confident with bread making at home. I know how much pleasure and satisfaction it gives me and I hope inspires you to make it part of your daily life.
